A Flatter Stomach Takes Work
With all of the workouts, all of the time and all of the money spent, the one
thing we all seem to want is a flatter stomach. We want those coveted six-pack
abs fast. We can run and we can walk. We can strength train and we do aerobic
exercise. But, if we are not working out correctly for our abdominal muscles, we
will still be soft and flabby across the abdomen. What we need to do is work out
with some lower abdominal exercises
to flatten our stomach and build that six-pack fast.
If you want a flatter stomach fast, forget the TV hype. It takes work. You must
exercise not only the lower abdominal muscles, but also the back muscles. The
body tends to even itself out as we stand erect. You cannot have strong abs
without strong back muscles. Ab workouts must be combined with back muscle

the traditional leg lifts, crunches and reverse crunches. Or, you can use

repetitions in less time. In fact, you can probably perform more repetitions in
less time. Either way, this type of exercising takes time and work, along with a
healthier diet.
Abdominal Workouts Will Improve Your Appearance
For most people there are two problems associated with a flabby abdomen. One is
underdeveloped muscles. The other is stored fat. Workouts targeting your lower
abs will basically address only the problem of the underdeveloped muscles. Along
with exercising, you also need to maintain a low calorie diet. Cut out those
sweets and eat your fruits and vegetables. To be successful in flattening your
stomach and building well defined abdominal muscles fast you must exercise and
reduce body fat. Both are necessary for more shapely abdominals. For most of us,
our abs are hidden behind a layer of fat. Spot fat reduction by working out a
certain muscle group simply is not possible. In order to get a six pack ab fast,
we have to get rid of the fat. This means the fat all over our body, not just
across our stomach.
With a little workout and paying attention to the foods you eat, you can have a
slimmer, trimmer body faster than you might think. For a flatter stomach and
